Financing Incentives

Down Payment Assistance and Tax Abatement Opportunities...  

 

Homeport has partnerships with various organizations sponsoring down payment assistance programs, such as the city of Columbus, Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), and Columbus Housing Partnership, Inc.

These programs can offer eligible buyers up to $6,000 for down payment and closing costs.

Homeport also offers additional grant funds (based on availability) to help buyers purchase a North of Broad unit. The amounts are varied but can be up to $30,000 or more based on buyer eligibility.

All of the North of Broad models have been certified as tax abated. This abatement means there are no new taxes paid on the improved value of land. A potential buyer would pay land only taxes which can amount to a significant savings for up to 15 years.
